What a BUSY Week!

GO, GO, GO, GO!! We have been super busy over the last week. It was very unlike me to have forgotten my camera on two of these days, but it happened. It started last Saturday with my birthday. We went to the Taste of Omaha and then to a birthday party for our friend, Hudson. He and Grandma Alice share a birthday on the 16th, but he had a big 1st birthday party on Sat. We went to Harlan on Wednesday to celebrate with Grandma. These are the two days I forgot my camera so I don't have pics to share. You'll just have to take my word for it, we had fun!

Saturday we went to a wedding of one of our friends. Actually it was our friend's daughter who got married. (Talk about feeling OLD!) We went with our friends the Grant's and the Hutfless'. Brody was very excited to get to show off his dance moves. We have been practicing at home. He managed to catch the garder and show the big guys some of his best moves. He had his pick of dance partners, but chose to dance only with the bride and her sister. What a ladies man. We had a late night there, but managed to get up bright and early on Sunday and head over to Adventureland in Des Moines.

We went with our friends Brent, Jill and Ruby Dolberg. Brody and Ruby did most of the riding, and Romey got to ride a couple too. It was hot, hot, hot. They have a new water park there so we took a midday break and went for a swim. That was Brody's favorite part. Ruby was ready for more rides, and Romey was ready for a nap! We made a stop at Aunt Becky's before heading back to Omaha. The kids were asleep before we hit the interstate. We were busy, but we had lots of FUN!
